Also this year organized the Kleine Brogel base a spottersday, this due to two events on and around the base. In the same weekend was also the Sanicole airshow planned, due to the fact they do not have a long enough runway. Did most of the Sanicole airshow participants fly from Kleine Brogel, to participate in the Sanicole airshow. Also in this same weekend was the "national holiday" on the Friday with a flight defile above Brussel, all F-16's in the massive formation where operating from KB. As usual provided the Kleine Brogel base all aviation enthusiasts with some fly-by's, great photograph opportunities and an overall good organization of this event. Highlights where the three Fouga Magistars in their "last" season, the Czech Republic with three L-159 ALCA's and two JAS-39 Gripens. Furthermore where also the Royal Jordanian Falcons together with the ASAS de Portugal present, and practised their show above the Sanicole airfield. Photograph oppertunities are as usual perfect on Kleine Brogel, you can shoot the aircrafts in their low pass over the runway, during start up, when rolling in to their parking spot and when checked and serviced by the ground crews. Again a great job by the Kleine Brogel crew.
