On 02 & 03 September, the Belgium Airforce organised the defence days. Main items of the airshow where the 60 years of Belgium airforce, and the Belgium-French cooperation in aircraft training, due the fact that the Belgium airforce has stationed their trainers in France. Some very nice participants for the static and airshow where invited, however did some of the participants cancel at the last moment. Highlights of this show where the static Romanian Mig-21, two Turkish F-4 Phantoms, a Greek F-16 and the F-16's and TB-30's from Portugal. The static show was very bad situated, due the fact every aircraft was completely surrounded with fences and equipment, so you had to be very creative to make some good photographs, or make close-up shots of the exclusive aircrafts.

Furthermore was the Patrulla Aguila present for a nice airshow in the mostly cloudy skies of Beauvechain. The Belgium three colour was presented with a fly-by of six Alpha Jets, which flew over the crowd with the Black/Yellow/Red colours. And always nice to see, was the solo & duo display of the Belgian Fouga CM170 Magister. Overall a very nice airshow, with some minor disappointments and bad weather all over the day.
